About
Small finds, big joy
Micro Shopper is an independent shopping-discovery publication for the little things that make everyday life feel warmer — thoughtful gifts, cozy home comforts and seasonal touches, gathered into three small, carefully edited collections.
What we do
We look for well-made, genuinely useful finds from established makers and publishers, and we write practical guides to help you choose between them. We don’t sell anything ourselves: every product links to the maker’s, publisher’s or retailer’s own page, so you can check the details and buy directly from them.
Who we are
Micro Shopper is an independent publication from Moonforge Labs, which runs a small portfolio of independent software and web projects. We aren’t owned or sponsored by any of the brands we feature.
Our collections
- Little Joys — Thoughtful little gifts — soft toys, first building sets, board books and playful finds that make an ordinary day feel brighter.
- Cozy Living — Mugs, throws, candles, robes and the soft, warm pieces that turn a corner of home into a favorite spot.
- Seasonal Magic — Festive touches for crisp autumn evenings and cozy winter holidays — seasonal baking, candles and treats.
How we choose and check products
- We start from what the maker or publisher actually says about a product — its materials, age grading, care instructions and intended use.
- Before a product appears here, we check that its official product page is live and matches the name we show.
- Products labelled “Candidate pick” are still under editorial review.
- We don’t publish invented prices, star ratings, reviews, discounts or “best seller” claims. Prices and availability are always set by the retailer.
- We don’t claim to have tested a product unless we have. Our guides say when picks are based on published information rather than hands-on use.
- We only show product photos we have permission to use. Until then, you’ll see one of our illustrations instead.
How Micro Shopper earns money
Right now, product links go straight to makers’ and publishers’ pages and earn us nothing. In future we may join retailer affiliate programs; if we do, we’ll list them on our affiliate disclosure page and make clear which links are affiliate links.
